Can I Wear Diamond Earrings Daily?

Diamond is considered the hardest gemstone on earth, with unmatched durability and sparkle. Natural diamonds are precious, rare, and expensive. A pair of diamond earrings is an expensive possession; you will never want your jewelry to lose its charm or sparkle and look dull. Like any other piece of jewelry, diamond earrings will accumulate grime and dirt if worn regularly and start appearing dull. Chemicals and ingredients from the day-to-day products you use will create a cast over the diamond stone, which will reduce its sparkle over time. Exposing your diamond earrings to chemicals and chlorinated water will harm their sparkle. If you want to retain its look and shine for several years, avoid wearing your natural diamond earrings daily.

Choose lab-grown diamond earrings for everyday wear.

Lab Grown Diamonds possess the same physical and chemical characteristics as natural diamonds, which is why they look identical to natural diamonds. One of the best attributes of lab-created diamonds is their affordability. Environmentally conscious buyers need not worry about digging a hole in their pocket while buying a pair of lab-grown diamond earrings for themselves or their loved ones. Being affordable and highly durable in nature, lab-grown diamonds are a perfect gemstone for everyday jewelry.

Lab-grown diamonds are identical to mined diamonds and sparkling gems made in laboratories. Lab Created Diamond Earrings are made highly durable so that they can withstand daily wear and tear. If you are looking for diamond earrings for everyday wear, then there can be no other better option than lab-grown diamonds, especially for people who are environmentally and socially conscious.

Should I take off my diamond earrings at night?

Get-Diamonds Launches Tool for Virtual Try-on of Diamond Rings

Antwerp, Belgium, July 19, 2022: Get-Diamonds, the world’s largest B2B online platform for listing polished diamonds, owned by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB), has launched VIRTUAL HAND, an augmented reality tool that enables users to virtually try-on a variety of diamond rings in different sizes, cuts, and settings, using computerized imaging. Get-Diamonds is the only B2B online platform to offer this tool.

According to Get-Diamonds Executive Director Eyal Shirazy, VIRTUAL HAND is intended for use by retailers as a service for their customers. The company did a soft launch of the feature at JCK Las Vegas 2022.

Shirazy said, “VIRTUAL HAND offers retailers an important advantage in selling diamond jewelry, one which I believe their customers will appreciate. The response of the trade has been overwhelmingly positive, and I believe that it will attract a significant number of new users to Get-Diamonds.”

Shirazy added that in the first stage the AR tool is open to all users, registered or not. The second stage, which will only be open to registered users, will enable users to virtually try-on actual stones from Get-Diamonds listings, not only in rings but also in earrings and other jewelry.

The advanced tool is the result of cooperation with Inova Diamonds, a company that specializes in technological solutions for the online marketing of diamonds and jewelry using augmented reality (AR).

Artium Sondelzon, a co-founder of Inova Diamonds, said that a later stage of VIRTUAL HAND will offer full 3D technology, including realistic diamond and gold reflection and diamond rotation.

Get-Diamonds was founded in April 2020 by the WFDB to serve the diamond and jewelry industry as a non-profit organization. Its motto “By the industry, For the industry,” reflects this goal. Profits generated by the site are to be invested in projects that benefit the

Diamond Jewelry Advantage – Maaya Fine Jewels

Diamond Jewelry Advantage - Maaya Fine Jewels

Diamond Shopping can be a very overwhelming experience for a consumer. Diamond grading is a very subjective matter, and true grading of diamonds is at the epitome of this very subject. As a consumer, it can be tricky to decide whom to trust to ensure you are getting the right quality at the right price.

Unfortunately, due to immense competition, there are a lot of cases of malpractices taking place, and certain laboratories are giving false grading of diamonds and manipulating qualities. This has been happening for few years now as mentioned in one of our earlier articles on diamond prices.

We spoke to Nihar Parikh from Maaya Fine Jewels, a Manufacturer/Retailer of diamond jewelry since 1975, to help consumers recognize the right way to buy diamonds. He quoted, “At a consumer level, many customers find it hard to differentiate genuine quality. Sometimes, an avid buyer of diamond jewelry can recognize the quality of diamonds by seeing the shine and color (whiteness), compared to weaker diamond jewelry that looks grey, brown, or appears dull.

Its also important to understand the difference between buying from a retail store vs a manufacturer. A manufacturer like us can vouch for the quality and can give guarantees on the weights and quality of the product along with genuine US lab certification.

Also, our entire team is well-trained in grading diamonds, unlike a salesperson or a manager at a retail store. The goal at Maaya is to bridge this gap between the manufacturer and the end consumer.”

At Maaya Fine Jewels, they source their diamonds in the loose form from reputed DeBeers certified siteholders (companies that specialize in natural diamond mining and cutting) and set it in artistic jewelry designs under their own roof and supervision. This gives reassurance to the customer that

NYC smash-and-grab nets over $2 million in jewelry: NYPD

A 30-second smash-and-grab heist in The Bronx netted a clutch of thieves more $2.15 million in “high-end diamond jewelry” during a wild, caught-on-video robbery, police say.

Surveillance video shows a suspect, clad in a white T-shirt and a black cap and wearing sunglasses, acting like a customer when he’s buzzed into Rocco’s Jewelry on Webster Avenue in Fordham around 2:30 p.m. Friday, cops said.

But instead of going inside, the man then let his three masked cohorts rush through the door, video shows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, August 5, 2022 at approximately 1438 hours, at Rocco's Jewelry located at 2521 Webster Avenue, an unknown individual approached the front door and was buzzed inside of the store by an employee. This individual then held the door open for an additional three individuals. Once inside the store, the three individuals used a hammer to smash open the display cases and removed a large amount of high-end diamond jewelry. The jewelry was placed into bags being carried by the individuals, who fled the location on foot heading southbound on Webster Avenue. The total value of stolen property is approximately $2.15 million. No injuries were reported.
The caper lasted about 30 seconds, the security footage shows.
