Malady – All Pressure, No Diamonds review

Transforming the minutiae of everyday life into dancefloor-ready rhythms, London four-piece Malady create glittering soundscapes punctured with the sounds of their city. Inspired by the brutalist beauty of London, ‘All Pressure, No Diamonds’ is a kaleidoscopic glimpse into the band’s creative partnership. Leading with the infectious dance grooves of ‘Hyperreal’, Percy Junior Cobbinah’s vocals melt into the deep grooves and jagged synths, delving into a feeling of living perpetually online. Detailing contemporary life with ease, the outfit agitate about “being past their prime” on ‘Fools Errand’. Matching their anxiety with jittery electronics and searing sirens, Percy frets over life passing him by: “All I do is wait in line / Waiting on the things that could never be mine”. This narrative flows throughout this debut EP, as he wrestles with life’s melancholy on ‘Black Dog’: “I find the black dog always bites my behind.” The indifference of the city can be isolating at times. The pulsating ‘Pressure Builds’ hustles through a system that is “set up to work against you”. Among the ominous synths, though, there are soft glimmers of hope as the electronics dance across the track’s surface. It may be all pressure, no diamonds, but Malady are still going to try and find the joy of life.

Black grape extract may help solve many of your skin woes, but it must be used with caution

Black grapes are not only healthy but are also gaining popularity as a skincare ingredient. Known for their velvety appearance and sweet flavour, they are loaded with a number of vitamins and minerals. According to Namita Pandharipande, cosmetologist, R&D personal care, Netsurf Communications said, black grapes have antioxidant properties, including proanthocyanidins and resveratrol, which give protection against UV radiation, while its vitamin C levels ensure the renewal of skin cells.

“Additionally, they also aid in the removal of age spots and wrinkles, and can even strengthen the skin’s elasticity and enhance blood circulation, resulting in healthy, radiant skin. Other benefits include fighting conditions such as eczema and skin cancer due to the anthocyanins present in the fruit,” Pandharipande told indianexpress.com.

However, one should exercise caution when using black grape extract due to the health risks associated with them. According to the National Centre for Complementary and Integrative Health, the black grape extract may be harmful for the following reasons:

*Black grape extract may increase the risk of bruising and bleeding in those with bleeding disorders, however, it is unclear whether it is a major risk.
*Those taking blood-thinning medications such as warfarin or aspirin are at increased risk for cardiovascular diseases. They are advised to not consume black grape seed extract.

Other than that, if you are allergic to black grapes or their extract, then it would be wise to avoid it. “However, if you plan to use black grape extract directly onto your skin, begin with a patch test. You can do the patch test on inconspicuous areas of your skin, like your wrist or ankle. Wait for 24 hours to ensure that your skin has no adverse reaction to the extract and can handle it,” advised Pandharipande, highlighting that if you are allergic to the extract, you might

Kate Middleton Re-Wears Her 2019 White Alexander McQueen BAFTAs Gown

The mom of four promoted sustainability with the familiar frock, and shimmered at the event with the help of dangly, gold statement earrings. Instead of flowers on the shoulder strap, this time it looked more ruffly and flowy.

She stepped out in gold heels, and posed alongside her husband, Prince William, who looked dapper in a classic suit and bow tie. Princess Kate wore her long brunette tresses down, parted in the center and styled straight with her signature voluminous blowout.

As for her makeup look, the royal went for a classic smokey eye with glittery eyeshadow, black liner and sky-high lashes. She also added rosy blush to her high cheekbones, and topped it all off with a shiny and subtle reddish lip color.

Back in 2019, Kate wore her hair up in a slicked-back bun to the BAFTAs, and also rocked a black, kohl-rimmed eye look. She also opted for sparkly, dangly earrings and a glistening wristlet, but accessorized with a white clutch rather than a black one.

north-west-designer-bag-collection/” data-ylk=”slk:North West” class=”link “North West is adding ‘budding designer’ to her fashion resume.

Kim Kardashian gave her Instagram followers a peek into a recent studio visit, where her nine-year-old modelled an unreleased item from Kanye West‘s fashion house.

The young artist also presented her own designs, possibly teasing a collab with her father’s line.

In a set of pics shared to Kardashian’s Instagram Stories, North shows a pair of hand-drawn sketches during a visit to a Yeezy design studio.

The alien-like sketches on blue paper also include braided decorations, one where a braid emerges from a creature’s mouth, and another with three braids glued to each side of the creature’s head. The second creature also has a snake-like tongue.

‘NORTH SKETCHES @YEEZY,’ the mother of four captioned the pics.

In another set of pics, North wears a pair of futuristic, oversized shades, in a silver cat-eye shape that is elongated to cover the under-eye area.

The young star styled the glasses with a black sleeveless biker tank and matching shorts.

The mother of four captioned the pics with what appears to be the name of the shades, ‘YR 3022 @YEEZY SHDZ.’

The new look at the nine-year-old’s artistry comes weeks after she emerged as the street-style star of Paris Fashion Week.

In addition to her innovative looks from Balenciaga and her dad’s now-defunct streetwear brand, Pastelle, North coordinated with her mom in matching nose chains at the Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture autumn/winter 2022–23 show.

Her steampunk-adjacent look included a matching striped vest and skirt, layered over a white collared button-up and black tie, and accessorised with knee-high combat boots, a pinstriped beret, and black shades.

Kaia Gerber Stepped Out in the Nostalgic Sneaker That Celebrities Can’t Stop Wearing

Back in high school, Adidas Samba sneakers — you know, the ones with the famous T-toe and trio of stripes down each side — were reserved just for soccer practice, but now fast-forward to 2022, and the shoes are being worn anywhere, with just about anything.

Take, for instance, supermodel Kaia Gerber, who stepped out in the celebrity-loved sneaker yesterday while elevating her streetwear status in an oversized denim shirt and baggy black trousers. She paired her button-down over a tank top in a coordinating color, and accessorized with two shopping bags, tiny black sunglasses, and sapphire pendant necklace. Meanwhile, on her feet were the iconic Sambas in black with white stripes and gray suede detailing.

Beauty-wise, Kaia kept her look simple with barely-there makeup and loose, shoulder-grazing waves that were complemented by a pair of large headphones.

Kaia isn’t the only celebrity who can’t get enough of the nostalgic Samba sneaker. Earlier this year, Ashley Olsen sported the unfussy shoe while wearing head-to-toe The Row, and just a month later, fellow model Bella Hadid pulled out her pair of Sambas during Milan Fashion Week. She styled hers with chunky white socks teamed with opaque black tights and a brown skirt asymmetric stripes.

The NYPD says an employee at Rocco’s Jewelry in the Fordham Heights section buzzed one of the suspects inside the store. That person then held the door for another three robbers.

They threw the jewelry into bags they had carried into the store.  They then all ran from the store heading south on Webster Avenue.  No one was hurt in the incident.

J Balvin Talks Meeting Jay-Z, Immigrant Roots and His Bodega-Inspired Streetwear Line

J Balvin knows a thing or two about starting from the bottom in the United States. Before becoming a staple in reggaetón, he was Jose Álvaro Osorio, an undocumented worker painting houses, trying to make a living in the U.S.

Fast-forward to 2022, and Balvin — now a Grammy-nominated musician with countless hits — has found a way to give back to his roots.

More from Rolling Stone

On Tuesday, Miller Lite announced a new iteration of the brand’s partnership with Balvin: a streetwear collection, named BodegaWear, designed for the runs to the neighborhood convenience store. Most importantly to Balvin, all proceeds from the streetwear line sales are set to go to the Acción Opportunity Fund, which supports corner stores and Latinx-owned businesses.

“Even though I have this different life today, I can’t forget about my beginnings and where I come from,” he tells Rolling Stone. “When you go to the bodega, there are a lot of people there that don’t have papers — that’s just the reality. Imagine a day without Latinos. The day would be frozen.”

To celebrate the launch of the new line, we spoke to Balvin about his favorite fashion trends this summer (“Every time I pull up in all-black I feel just like Batman.”), his recent collabs with Anitta and Ed Sheeran, and the meetup he had with his hero, Jay- Z:

J Balvin is all about the Latino gang. Talk to me about BodegaWear. Why is giving back so important?
With us Latinos, that’s our thing. Going to la tienda. We just transferred our DNA to this collab, keeping it street. I know the struggles. I used to be [undocumented] working here, painting houses. I know how it feels. I have this empathy for my people because I know how

Teresa Giudice brought her Jersey style to Ireland a few days ago, and she recently showed off a chic black jumpsuit worn during one of her outings.

While her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga added lots of green to her wardrobe as an ode to the country, Teresa opted for lots of dark colors such as black and navy blue instead.

That’s excluding the white tulle dress that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star donned during what appeared to be a pre-wedding celebration in her honor.

The 50-year-old is getting ready to tie the knot with her fiance Luis Ruelas and it seems her castmates threw her a bachelorette party to mark the occasion.

We saw videos of Teresa and the other women walking the streets of Dublin, and she looked very bridal in her white high-low dress with a plunging neckline and a halter neck.

She later gave us a better view of the outfit by posting a photo on social media, and she looked very angelic in the all-white ensemble.

In her latest post, Teresa opted for all black as she stylishly lounged on a sofa in her room.

The OG showed off lots of cleavage in the strapless item as she posed for the photo. The top part of the jumpsuit was covered in sequins and the outfit was fitted at the ankles.

She paired the black ensemble with black pumps and added large diamond hoops along with several rings and a few bracelets.

Teresa went with a smokey eye and nude lipstick with a shimmer. The bride-to-be wore her sleek brown hair in a messy side part, resting over her right shoulder.
